Back-end selling, an affiliate marketing term simply means selling some other affiliate products after your initial sale has been completed to the same client.

How should you sell such a product?

For the Merchant

1. After you have secured the first affiliate product sale to your customer, you can encourage this same customer to join your newsletter so that you can provide more updates on your future products. Over time, you will discover that newsletters serve as a very effective way of promoting all your back-end products.

2. Using your autoresponder, this customer now receives an email containing a ‘thank you’ message from you from an automated response.  In this message you will include mentioning of your  back-end product.

3. Your affiliate marketing website serves as a constant reminder to your visitors about some of your recommended products. You simply create a page on your website and make it exclusive for all your customers only. You should include some of your best back-end products, with indication which products are new.
